In a small bowl combine the sugar and the cinnamon. In a large microwave safe bowl, combine the cereals and the popcorn.
In a silicone 1 cup measuring cup, microwave the butter on high or until melted, between 30 seconds to 1 minute. Pour the butter over the cereal mix and stir to coat. Microwave on high, stirring after 1 minute. Sprinkle half of the sugar mixture over the cereal and stir.
Then sprinkle on the rest of the sugar mix and stir again. Microwave another minute on high. Spread out on parchment lined baking sheets and allow to cool. Store in an airtight container. Makes 8 cups

These make a wonderful snack for after school. Add different dried fruits or nuts to the ones you and your family like. I’m a dried cranberry girl myself. I’ll eat them right out of the bag. That and crystalized ginger. Yum!

Ps… These are good Party snacks too. Place in small plastic bags and tie up with curling ribbon. Or fill paper popcorn bags and have a movie night. One outside would be really fun. Just bring lots of bug spray 🙂
