Easy BBQ chicken to put on just about anything.
Pull out the slow cookers and get ready to make a yummy BBQ pulled chicken. Place the meat on gluten free burger buns, baked potatoes, gluten free tortillas or crispy tostada shells like here.
You can make your own slaw ( or use the kale salad recipe without the blueberries). Or just do what we do….go buy a bag of pre-shredded coleslaw since we have to make everything else! Sheesh!
Here is the ingredient list for the BBQ chicken.
* 6 chicken thighs and 2 chicken breasts (about 2.5 pounds)
* 1/2 onion, chopped
* 3 cloves garlic, minced
* 1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce
* 1 (4 oz) can diced green chiles
* 3 Tbs cider vinegar
* 2 Tbs. honey
* 1 Tbs. tomato paste
* 1 Tbs. smoked paprika
* 1 Tbs. Worcestershire sauce
* 2 tsp dry mustard
* 1 tsp chili powder
* 1 Tbs. brown sugar
* 1 jalapeno pepper, minced
Not too bad. The nice  thing is everything gets tossed into the slow cooker and then you just walk away… awesome!
Now that’s how we like to dinner.
